Yeah the re-remaster is likely due to licencing problems. This new version adds 1 or 2 new episodes though and FINALLY remasters the only flaw the original had: The low budget cutscenes, haha.

Unless you really, REALLY need Adobe software or MSVC, you can switch easily today. I'm not missing a single application. Switched almost 3 years ago and never looked back. Theres alternatives for Shadowplay (GPU Screen Recorder) and Photoshop (Krita) - which have been the most deciding factor for me in the past. Playing multiplayer games with kernel level anticheat is the only thing you won't be able to do. Even then, just Dual Boot. It's not 2004 anymore, restarting your computer takes like 1minute.
